Brothers, 

It is my sad duty to inform you that Bill Zerman (Michigan 1949), our Executive
 Director/Editor Emeritus, passed away last night (Feb 25) in Memphis.

Bill was 82. He had been in declining health for a number of months. Over the
 last week or so he had been under hospice care, so his final days were
 peaceful, as was his passing. 

Bill is survived by his daughter Carol, sons Bill and Greg, all their spouses,
 and eight grandchildren.

Plans for a funeral service are not yet final. We do know that the service will
 be here in Lexington at Southern Hills Methodist Church, where the Zerman's
 were members when they lived in Lexington. We will pass further details, when
 they are known, to anyone requesting them. Also, they will be posted on the
 Fraternity website (www.phigam.org).

Phi Gamma Delta has lost a giant, and all brothers who knew Bill have lost a
 friend.
